You are nay Edelweiss
burgeoning in strident
Alpin condition;

You are nay proactive
blooms like Amaryllis
that in the long run
burst people with a
fervor,

Nay Myrtle, Magnolia,
Lemon balm, nor Rosemary ;
Nay a cornflower meshed to
lucre and great lot ;

Nay red tulips, daisy
having a line with love,
romance, and the levity
of acuity;

           You can never be
           Lily-of-the-valley
      that stands for serendipity,
probity, gaiety, servility,
Nay the sunflower reacting
to the sunlight's bows, nor
the wildflower  fetching some
euphoria,

You are like the Basil ever
sending the gushes of scorn;
Romping on the carcasses of
the valley.

Can you behave like the
sunflower anyway reaching
out its blond arms?

the lilac that is a fervency
for somber lovers who
devotedly love each other?

the morning-glory, waning
the whole day's somnolence,
and unremittingly bestowing
warmth to the soul?

the Chamomile softening our
spirits and selves, full of dismay
and agony?

the Purple Hyacinth that at
every dereliction ensues the
semblance of 'I m sorry'? no,
you can't be,
You can't have an effect like the
cornflower, a blessing for every
self dwelling on the earth;

You are the chrysanthemum
invariably limning one's death,
I know, you are formidable,
you are yucky, you are macabre,
you often smirk on the people's
trauma, on their funerals and
graves.
